Job Description

Oversees programmatic operations at a Boys Town Affiliate Site to ensure high quality programs that are consistent with established systems of Youth Care and to maintain compliance with Youth Care fidelity standards of care. Ensures programs comply with contract standards.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:Directs programmatic operations at a Boys Town Affiliate Site.
  • Leads, motivates, and evaluates staff to ensure program fidelity, program quality, and program staff development in meeting program expectations.
  • Implements program performance components, including model fidelity observations, implementation practice reviews, program alignment plans, incorporation of quality management council, and operating reviews.
  • Oversees and coordinates program efforts to ensure a team-driven process involving caregivers, youth, families, and community services working together to develop, implement, and provide quality services.
  • Provides consultation, coaching, and feedback as necessary and monitors the progress made in achieving programmatic objectives.
  • Monitors and analyzes data to evaluate program performance and ensure program objectives and outcomes are being met on a day-to-day basis.
  • Participates in budget preparation and monitoring financial information for program services; communicates financial information with the appropriate personnel and ensures performance within the program budget.
  • Participates in the development of proposals and contracts for program services.
  • Evaluates program activities and assesses risk regarding the care and service of youth and families.
  • Collaborates internally to ensure needed services are provided to meet program alignment plan goals.
  • Represents Boys Town in a professional manner through public speaking, committee or association memberships, and networking.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships and partnerships with community stakeholders, agencies, and public and private officials to advocate for youth and families.
  • Administers policies and oversees program compliance with contractual, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
  • Directs the preparation and submission of reports and recommendations; oversees the development and dissemination of communication and documentation.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to successfully lead a team of associates.
  • Knowledge of the Boys Town Model.
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the organization and with external business contacts in an articulate, professional manner while maintaining necessary degree of confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of state and local agencies and regulatory requirements pertaining to youth care.
  • Knowledge of organizational strategies and ability to apply those strategies in practice.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field required.
  • Minimum of two years administrative experience required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience including management, administration, and social services required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Boys Town experience and experience working with state and local agencies preferred.
