Job Description:
Provides information and technology services contract guidance and advice for Fidelity National Information Services in Jacksonville, Florida, consisting of drafting and negotiating outsourcing, software licenses, and other information services customer agreements for financial institutions and other business entities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Drafts and negotiates outsourcing, software license, and other information services customer agreements.
-Drafts and negotiates information services vendor agreements, reseller agreements, and distribution agreements.
-Advises on a broad range of information services and information technology issues.
-Performs legal research regarding compliance issues and contractual matters.
-Conducts investigations in order to gather information relating to particular information technology issues.
-Provides assistance to various departments relating to information services matters.
-Provides advice and assistance in disputes and litigation matters relating to information technology issues.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Three to ten years of relevant information services experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS
-Knowledge of the principles, methods, materials and practices of information services law.
-Strong writing and communication skills.
-Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers, colleagues, outside opposing counsel, and company employees.
-Ability to use the computer to perform legal research.
